HDTV High Definition image quality
As HDTV is now starting to be adopted in the video surveillance area it promises outstanding image quality compared to analog CCTV systems. HDTV provides up to five times higher resolution than standard analog TV. HDTV also has better color fidelity and a 16:9 format. Defined by SMPTE (Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers), the two most important HDTV standards are SMPTE 296M and SMPTE 274M. HDTV 720P defines a resolution of 1280x720 pixels with high color fidelity in a 16:9 format using progressive scanning at 25/30 Hertz (Hz)—which corresponds to 25 or 30 frames per second, depending on the country—and 50/60 Hz (50/60 fps). HDTV 1080 defines a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels with high color fidelity in a 16:9 format using either interlaced or progressive scanning at 25/30 Hz and 50/60Hz. A camera that complies with the SMPTE standards indicates adherence to HDTV quality and should provide all the benefits of HDTV in resolution, color fidelity and frame rate. HDTVs are based on square pixels—similar to computer screens, so HDTV video from network video products can be shown on either HDTV screens or standard computer monitors. With progressive scan HDTV video, no conversion or deinterlacing technique needs to be applied when the video is to be processed by a computer or displayed on a computer screen.

Ulan Bator City Realized Wireless IP City Surveillance System with Multpix Network IP High Speed Dome
Mission: Ulan Bator, the capital of Mongolian, is a rich grassland with modern urban style. It has been 300 years of history, population of 873,600, of which 70% are young people. It is one of the youngest city in the world. With increasing urbanization, population of Ulan Bator is becoming more and more as well as the security risks and criminal case increased. Mongolian government wanted a stable and reliable IP City surveillance system to give the public greater security guarantee and property protection. Solution: For wireless device, we selected the famous USA brand company AIRAYA, which is one of Multipix's good partners since high quality and good reputation could provide much stability and guarantee to the entire system. After general considered a wider field of vision was necessary for city surveillance and more high-demand to the bandwidth on application of wireless network, Multipix selected MP264HS-709 H.264 network high speed dome and MPWEB Lite 64ch NVR software to build one solid and sound system for Mongolia government. Result After all the IP speed dome camera and wireless equipments implemented in the main sites of Ulan Bator city, Mongolian government was quite easy and convenient to monitor the primary areas at data center and satisfied with the ultra clear image quality. And finally the selected solution and the long testing period allowed the customer’s requirements to be fully met. Thanks to the scalability offered by the system, new network cameras are easily being added by technicians to further extend the areas under video surveillance. MP264HS-709 IP Speed Dome's powerful functions and 720p crystal image quality favored clients very much. MP264HS-709 adopted SONY 36x Camera module, and pan speed can be up to 360 degree/s. During the commissioning, clients was amazing that he could capture the sharp details of the view even up to 600m long distance away very soon and quite conveniently. Moreover, the clients was more satisfied by the high resolution clear image, smooth and stable video stream. Because MP264HS-709 was encoded by the advanced H.264 compression, which can perform out Crystal DVD image quality video. Meanwhile even up to 1280720 high resolution, frame rate at 20fps, it svideo stream only takes 2Mbps at maximum. With these unmatched features and discreet solution, Multipix favored our clients very much. MPWEB NVR Software featured functions enhanced the systems overall performance and more fit for wireless network video management* Within low bandwidth wireless network and high video quality requirement, Multipix successfully finished the implementation by special features: dual stream and LBR. Dual Stream Dual Streaming enables the clients to have more high resolution recordings when the computer source is limited. Multipix MPWEB NVR Software supports dual stream, master stream in D1, and sub stream in CIF. We can let these two streams do record or live display simultaneously, such as live view in CIF, but record in D1. Generally image live display will take much more computer source, but record will not take much. Suppose the computer source is limited, if you set the dual stream like this way, you can get more clear recording files. LBR (Limit Bit Rate) Multipix MPWEB NVR software has one good capability to control the video bit rate to adapt to various and comprehensive environment. As you know that the video stream is easily effected much by nature environment, such as wind, motion and obstacles to the wireless network bandwidth. In this case it will caused the wireless system much instable, and the video stream will not go smoothly. The featured function of MPWEB NVR LBT could limit the bit rate of the video stream, which can guarantee more stability for the entire system. It proved Multipix MPWEB NVR software fits wireless video management very well.


Philippines Mactan Cebu bridge gained new great significations with Multipix
Mission The Mandaue-Mactan Bridge, is one 846 meters long and 9 meters wide bridge, being regarded as an important landmark of Cebu, which connecting the Mactan Island and the Mandaue City and Cebu City, has been constructed as great commercial and historical significance. Philippines government wanted to install a security camera system on this old Mactan-Mandaue bridge to protect it and also monitor the coming and going busy traffic flow. Solution Multipix offers MP264HS series high resolution IP cameras with ultra high quality/price ratio strength beating all other competitors since the low budget of this project. Two high resolution cameras installed under the two bridges, each with panoramic view while six other cameras installed on the main portion connecting the two bridges.
